About MACSON – Makueni Civil Society Network
Makueni Civil Society Network (MACSON) is one of the leading grassroots networks in Makueni County, committed to defending, protecting, and promoting human rights, democracy, good governance, and advocacy. As a strong civil society umbrella, MACSON brings together over 53 member organizations across all six sub-counties, leveraging a collaborative approach to address social, political, and developmental challenges in the region.
Vision:
To enhance a conducive and enabling environment for civil society organizations, empowering them to advocate for effective governance, transparency, and inclusive development in Makueni County.
Mission:
To strengthen civil society organizations, communities, and institutions through collaborative partnerships, capacity building, and advocacy aimed at improving public service delivery and promoting citizen participation in governance.
